Professional Bio: Originally from North Vancouver, Susan has been doing hair for 10 years. Before coming to Karma, Susan worked at Zazou and at Holly's while always continuing her education.

Ainslie Koopmans (Hair Ninja)

Professional Bio: Ainslie is originally from North Vancouver. She learned hair from Axis training at John Casablanca's and continued her training in Las Vegas and at the Toni & Guy Academies in New York and Santa Monica. Ainslie also works for TIGI as an ambassador.
Specialties: Precision cuts. Thick hair. Women's short funky do's (no old lady cuts). Men's cuts. Curly hair. Texture and modern style. Colour, colour, and more colour.

Professional Bio: After finishing her schooling at Joji's, Melissa worked at Spa Utopia and Garden Suite Studio. She has been rocking the hair industry in North Vancouver for several years now and brings a lot of talent and enthusiasm to Karma.

Professional Bio: Growing up in North Vancouver, her mom, ex-hairdresser introduced her to a passion for hair at a young age. She began her career doing an apprenticeship run by VCC and is eager to keep learning. Her goal is to go to London in the next year and advance her training at the Vidal Sassoon Academy. She previously worked at the Katwalk Salon on lower Lonsdale.
Specialties: One-of-a-kind cuts and colours (bright/vibrant colours, asymmetrica/texturedl cuts), stylized mens cuts, short ladies cuts, fluid long hair, personalized colour.
Interests: Music, music, music. Playing drums and bass, going to live shows, taking pictures of live shows, and discovering new sounds. As well, Krystal is an avid movie collector and a tattoo enthusiast. Writing, reading and various forms of art follow closely behind.
